When I was a little girl the popular kids would make fun of my hair and my clothes. They teased me constantly and I felt defensive.
When I was a little girl the popular kids would make fun of my hair and my clothes. They teased me constantly and I felt defensive.
Many times I would listen
to the radio and learn songs to escape the fact that I just don't fit in.
I couldn't understand
why they didn't like me…
Maybe if I wore certain
clothes, had the hair styles, had more money hung out with the right group.
For years I tried to fit
in, I would have the same interests, ability, talent as the next person, yet
for some REASON. Fitting In was never something I could get the hang of.
I tried fit in from adolescence, young adulthood,
all the way into my adult life and all the way into my business.
Trying to do it like
everyone else, I perfected my ‘elevator pitch’, changed my opt in page, sat
down and made a marketing plan, bought all the sales training I could (and
couldn’t afford.
And it didn't work-
I still felt stressed, exhausted and inauthentic...
There are some really
big things I am being called to share. I’ve been praying about this for the
last year and I’m bringing it forward soon.
Get ready for a
DIFFERENT level of conversation.
See you there.
